I am Fatih Oğur, a Quality Manager and ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor with 16+ years of international experience, dedicated to elevating projects through Quality, Auditing, Lean, and Continuous Improvement.

Having worked across mega-projects in Oil & Gas, Power, Energy, Chemical, Construction, and Steel Structures, I have partnered with some of the world’s most respected organizations, consistently delivering value by turning quality challenges into sustainable excellence.


🌍 Global Experience & Key Projects

  • NEOM – Trojena Project, Saudi Arabia (Bechtel):
    Currently serving in the Quality team of one of the world’s most ambitious giga-projects, driving compliance, auditing, and continuous improvement to meet NEOM’s world-class standards.
  • Chevron – Tengiz Oil Field Expansion, Kazakhstan (Bechtel & ENKA JV):
    Established and maintained ISO 9001:2015 QMS for one of the largest oil & gas projects in the world, ensuring adherence to international standards while coordinating multinational contractor teams.
  • Egypt, and Turkey – Mega Infrastructure & Industrial Projects:
    Led Quality teams in steel structure, power plant, and chemical industry projects, working closely with stakeholders to implement Lean and Kaizen principles while maintaining client satisfaction.

Project Quality Leadership:
Leading cross-functional teams, managing contractor compliance, and ensuring risk-based thinking is embedded across projects.

Audit Management:
Planning, leading, and reporting all types of audits across complex projects:

  • Internal Audits – ensuring compliance and continual improvement within the organization.
  • Contractor Audits – verifying subcontractor performance against QMS, ITPs, and project requirements.
  • Supplier Audits – evaluating vendors for capability, reliability, and alignment with ISO standards.
  • Client Audits – managing external audits with NEOM, Bechtel, and other international clients.
  • Third-Party Audits – coordinating with certification bodies and regulatory authorities.
  • Process & System Audits – identifying systemic risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

Lean & Continuous Improvement (CI):
Applying 5S, Kaizen, VSM, OEE, and TPM methodologies to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance process reliability.

Problem-Solving Methodologies:
Applying structured approaches such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5-Why, 8D, Fishbone (Ishikawa), FMEA, PDCA, and A3 Thinking to resolve complex issues, prevent recurrence, and drive continuous improvement.

Cross-Cultural Team Management:
Having lived and worked in 7 countries, I excel at bridging cultural divides, ensuring smooth collaboration among diverse teams.
